new Zealand Campaign for wool STUDENT ANNIVERSARY 2020

new Zealand winners - with lauryn tipper

This bioplastic utilises discarded over-spun wool yarn as a filler to create a sustainable alternative to plastic postal bags. It is made using a starch based bioplastic recipe. The addition of over spun wool creates a semi-solid structure that can be moulded to fit its purpose.

Using biodegradable and discarded materials, we have not only provided a second life to the unwanted waste-wool, but have also created a sustainable replacement for "one-use" plastics.
